How do we work out our quotes?

We use Length and Width measurements obtained from our clients in meters. We then work out the surface area of the wall and the square meters involved. Finally we put those numbers through our formula to work out the pricing based on the level of detail and the total square meters involved.

How long does and average mural take?

It all depends on the size and condition of the wall, level of detail, conditions of the surrounding area, security and availability to the site. To do proper work and complete a long lasting mural we have to work at a reasonable pace and with minimal stresses for the right level of focus. a mural the size of 3 x 3 meters can take anywhere between 3 to 5 days.

What type of paints do we use?

We use the best brands of Super Acrylic PVA paints as well as Createx Wicked-Colors, and occasionally for base coats, we use spray paints on hard to cover walls. which depending on the light levels of the area we apply either a gloss or a matt resin coat for protection

Do we work outside of
Gauteng or SA?

Projects That require out of region travel can and has been done, but is worth noting that more often than not these projects require big budgets. As we have to transport compressors, airbrushes, paint, ladders and various supplies. as well as the booking of guesthouses or hotels for the duration of the project. but in short yes we can.

How do we get so much detail?

we use a variety of precision Iwata airbrushes, ranged from 0.18 to 0.5 needle size (top feed and syphon). We also use Createx-Wicked Colors at low air pressures for thin crisp lines. We also use stencil techniques with Tape and Scalpels for an overall sharp result.

What about
the overspray?

yes there will be overspray, but we take great care in minimizing overspray with air pressure control, tape guards to catch over spray and on occasions of poor ventilation a portable extractor fan. in the end any over spray that you will encounter will be no more than a dried dust that can be wiped and cleaned without any stains or damage to surfaces.
